Small Mining Dump Truck

Definition
Generally refers to 3–20 tonne narrow-body underground mining dump trucks (also known as underground ore transporters or tunnel tippers). Different from large open-pit mining dump trucks of dozens of tonnes, they feature a narrow, low-profile body, short wheelbase, strong gradeability, optional 4WD and hydraulic tipping, ideal for small cross-section roadways, small mines and tunnel mucking.
